Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EXCLUSIO LTD (6 Burrows Court, Liverpool, United Kingdom, L3 6JZ; "Apericor", "we") collects and uses personal data in connection with the Apericor website (the "Site") and the Apericor white-label dating platform service (the "Platform Service"). 1. Our two roles

• As a controller — for data about Site visitors, prospective and current business clients and their staff. This Policy describes that processing.
• As a processor — for end-user personal data processed on dating projects that our Clients operate on the Platform Service. For that data, the Client is the controller and the Client's own privacy policy applies; our processing is governed by the Data Processing Agreement. If you are an end user of a dating site built on our platform, please contact the operator of that site first; we will assist them with your request.

2. Data we collect as a controller

• Contact and enquiry data — name, email address, company details and the content of your message when you use the contact form, including any platform configuration you chose to share with your enquiry.
• Client account and billing data — contact details of Client representatives, contractual and invoicing information.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and usage data collected through analytics (see Cookies below).
• Preferences — interface settings such as theme and language, stored locally in your browser.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• responding to enquiries and negotiating contracts — legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract;
• providing and administering the Platform Service to Clients — performance of a contract;
• billing, accounting and legal compliance — legal obligation;
• improving the Site and understanding demand — legitimate interests (analytics);
• marketing communications and marketing pixels — consent, where required.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site stores your theme and language preferences in local storage; this is strictly functional. We use, or plan to use, analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics or Plausible) to understand Site usage, and marketing pixels to measure advertising. Where required by law, analytics and marketing technologies are only activated after your consent via the cookie notice, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing and sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions, including: Hetzner (hosting and infrastructure, EU data centres); our payment provider (billing; card data is processed on the provider's own PCI DSS-compliant pages and does not reach our servers); an email provider (transactional email); and analytics providers. We may also disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Platform data is hosted in EU data centres (Hetzner). Transfers between the UK and the EU rely on adequacy decisions. Where a transfer to another country is necessary, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including: TLS encryption in transit; encryption at rest on our servers; storage of identity verification documents on a separate encrypted volume with strictly limited access and defined retention; role-based access controls; 24/7 infrastructure monitoring; and daily automated backups stored on a separate server and retained for 30 days.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact; contractual and billing records for as long as required by law; analytics data in aggregated or pseudonymised form. Backups are retained for 30 days. Data processed for Clients is retained as instructed by the Client and deleted or returned at the end of the engagement.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email privacy​(at)apericor(dot)net. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local EU supervisory authority.

10. Children

The Site and the Platform Service are strictly for adults. Dating projects operated on the platform require all end users to be at least 18 years old.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version; material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
